Started 6 seeds from Heavens Stairway Uk bought in 2001-02.
Got 6/6 germ - 3 males and 3 females. 1 female didn't make it (the males were tortured and the survivor got to mate with the prettiest Sensi Star lady).

I saw 2 phenotypes while growing, they were more evident during flower. One was more leaf the other had more buddage to it. The one with more leaf had a darker shade of green to it and was the pheno that tasted like the metal lemons.

The one with the buddage looked light green and had the more Skunk flavor to it, both phenos had incredible crystal formation! Both of them finished within 3 days of each other with about 1.5-2 oz each. They were smallish also so I'm sure larger plants would do much better, mine were about 1.5-2.5 ft tall each.

The smoke of the dark one was the one I remember most.
It was one of the most relaxing and tastiest buds I have smoked for a long long time. The taste was refreshing, original, and full. Different than what you get from your local dealer. Really enjoyable to the taste buds. The stone was pure body and mind massage, great for relaxing after a hard days work and some time at home.

I would rate this strain an SOLID 8 (I have not smoked a 10 yet).

The pictures I have posted are of the darker pheno that tasted like metallic lemons.

I grew a couple seeds and got one nice female. This is a very easy strain to grow. Nice vigorous, lush, dark green growth. The plant took 65 days to finish .It grew like a little bush about 2 feet tall and 2 feet wide. The plant was almost all bud, a very good yielder. Towards the end of flower it produced a bit of a skunky smell.

The flavor was kind of spicy, musky. The high is very good. This is a very potent Indica with a heavy couchlock. A nice day ender. The short growth would make this a good scrog or grow cabniet strain.

i do like a nice strong indica at the end of a hard day and that was what i was looking for when i picked sensi star. i took 50 clones from four different sensi start mothers and ended up with ten from each of them. all 4 different phenotypes are all quite different from each other, but one stuck out as alot different to the others it was a much more sativa phenotype than any of the others. the 3 that a quite different to each other did share some growth characteristics, they were all very shorrt christmas tree shaped plants with a little bit of side branching and very nice top buds. The sativa pheno was alot taller(some of them twice the height of the other phenotypes) and some grew loads of side branches, i think they all would have had all the plants not been so tightly packed, attached to a tall thick main stem that had a beautiful top bud.
The high's of the different phenotypes was the main differance between them though, NO1 was the sativa pheno and u guessed it the high was much more sativa like than the rest it still gives that couchlock effect but your heads way above your body high in the sky.
No2 was the classic relaxing strong indica with no paranoia i was looking for when i brought the seeds. i like this one as it is very strong so you don't need to smoke much
No3 was the least potent of the bunch but a nice happy giggly high
No4 has been nicknamed by my friends F**kedup4 because the high is just CRAZY, its as strong as the NO2 but really edgey and paranoid your body is glued to your seat and your heads just fu*kedup. This pheno is only good for when you have nothing else to do but get fu**edup aand sit in a chair or lie down

Started 5 seeds, ended up with 4 females.

All were healthy and fairly uniform in veg. One pheno flowered very fast, I think I could have picked it at 46 days. It was extremely crystally and had a sweet smell, but the yield was very poor.

The others took about 65 days and had a more pungent burnt rubber and motor oil smell. During the cure though, this smell dissipated some and the bud now has a creamy chocolatey smell with some sweet and some motor oil like undertones. The taste is smooth but not too impressive.

The yield on this pheno was slightly above average and the bag appeal is excellent with some hints of purple on the buds.

Sensi Star is a cannabis cup winner. Upon smoking it, one immediatly notices why. Sensi has an intoxicating aroma, powerful punch, and a sweet taste. The bright orange hairs are a trademark sign of this glorius plant. Light fluffy buds add to the potency as you won't find a nook not covered in crystals. One great thing about the SS is that it isn't dense. This gives more surface area, which increases potency. Of course this also decreases yield. SS is not a poor yielder, but no one will confuse it for Big Bud either. The other knock against it is....it's suspectability for Powdery Mildew. Overall this strain will stay in my garden. The pro's heavily outweigh the cons, and after 2 weeks of curing, the room is filled with a wonderful complex smell, from sweetly calm carribean friut to car oil, my patient's LOVE this strain.

MG

While growing this strain the oder level stays particularly low, as well as the nutrient levels. average finisher at 9 weeks there were a good amout of amber trichomes.

Well I started out with a clone from a buddy of mine ( he got the seeds from paradise seed bank). I started the clone off in a drip feed/DWC setup and vegged for about 25 days or so, and I threw her into flower at 12 inches. About half way through veg I turned the drippers of as it was getting over watered. In veg the sensi liked around 600-700ppm( by the way I was using GH 3 part nutes) and if you aren't careful it will burn pretty easily. I also had to use an extra kick of epsom salt as she liked the extra MG
once I put her into flowering I was raising the PPM very slowly untill I got to about 950-1000, anything over that and she would burn. She stretched for about the first 2 weeks then just started to bush out, after streching she was exactly 24 inches. Unfortunatly I had to harvest her at 54 days, the smoke is still super strong and very lemon/skunky tasting, I think the smoke would be super excellent if I let her go to 65-70 days. I got a little less than a half ounce using a 250 watt HPS in a 4 gallon DWC bucket.
all this is an excellent strain and I kept a mom from a cutting and she will stay in my garden.

Very strong plant, quite easy to grow with a respectable yeald .
I got 3 females from 6 seeds.
Very stable phenotype;all the plants were very similar in appearence and height.
The appearence is nice, typical indica with fat dark leaves, short (55 cm at the end of flowering). It grows with a very big and beautiful top bud .amost without lateral branches.
Incredible resin production;the flowers are all covered with a lot of shiney chrystals.
The odor is very strange and not so easy to describe. It's a mix of eucalyptus, pine, almost balsamic with sweet fruity undertones. It's particulary strong during the last 2 weeks of flowering.
The flowering took 67-68 days.

Now the smoke report:
This is a strong indica with a body stone effect but your mind is clear.
Very relaxing particulary good if you don't have nothing to do.
The taste is absolutely great and original. It's full, sweet, piney, eucalyptus with sweet fruit and chocolate undertones refreshing your mouth. Very pleasant.
At the end i strongly recomand this strain specially if you are an indica lover like me. It is one of my favourite.

Sensi star is my favorite indica. Its potent stone is a wonderful day ender. I grew a clone from a pack of paradise seeds. This plant is light on nutes. She fits her breeder description of being "crowned with legendary amounts of resin" The smell curing really finalizes after a moth and a half. Sensi star is a pleasure to look at, break up, and smoke everytime. Its dense nugs have tichomes everywhere. The smoke is a expander in the lungs, and hits real good real quick rendering its inhaler stoned to the bone. Beautiful plant that any grower would be proud to have in their room. Sensi star will always have a spot in my garden =)
She was grown under a 1k hps light with oe other pant and yeilded 3.25 ounces.
