White Rhino are very healthy and sturdy plants. The only thing I could add is they don't take much nutes. I only use organics. But Leaf burn is there on some leafs. I've tried to back off and then fert again. I usually nute every other watering but on the White Rhino's maybe every third would do.

They are starting to really smell. I have good air flow thru the flower room to the outside. But upon getting close to these babies they smell worse than any strain I've grown since bagseed. They smell of sweet fresh flowers. They actually smell like I'm in a florist shop.

I have no problems whatsoever with this strain. Nirvana couldn't have an easier strain to grow. That leaf nute burn issue never became a problem.

First up is my largest sativa phenom rhino it will be the largest yielder hard nugs and frosty as hell. The White Rhino was harvested at 57 days. Trics cloudy and pistols 70%.White Rhino's have tight hard frosty buds. They smell like an evergreen tree. But curing will change that.

The Appearance is of a two toned brown and green. The bud leaves are green and the calyxes are a tan and brown color. These buds are shiny from tricomes and very very sticky. When you break these buds apart it sticks to itself. When you pull it apart the buds are so tight that you must pull it apart, then pull that apart, then pull that apart, you get the idea. It's endless. When you finish pulling the bud apart you will have some nice finger hash to scrape off your fingers. Let me tell you it slows down the typing of this report.

The Smell is of a pine forest, a very light piney smell. Smells just like Lysol Bathroom cleaner. but not obnoxious.

I must tell you that I smoke joints. So in a joint this weed burns very slow and hard to keep light. It is very resinous and coats the cigarette paper with black tar as it burns. Don't get me wrong it burns well while you're tokin but stop for a while and it goes out.

The Taste test; I'm smoking a joint of this right now and what comes to mind is piney.
Light semi-smooth but not very expansive. You cannot hold this in for long. The piney taste will cause you to exhale sooner than you would like. It reminds me of Super Silver Haze. It has a very strong taste somewhat harsh and you just can't hold the smoke in for long. It leaves a pine cough drop residual on your tongue which is not unpleasant if you like cough drops.

The High When I smoked my first joint of it. It passed my sticky test, my burn test and my taste test but here I was trying to decide on the high. Then it hit me. It hit me HARD.
This is truly one of the creeper strains. The high takes you over in about ten minuets. And you get light headed. I actually get a positive sativa inspired high. Also I feel waves of body high flowing through my body. The waves start in my gut and flow right up to my head and feed the head high more strength. WOW it's a double edge sword. This stuff is potent! Why for $15 it's a steal. The high lasts a long time and if you smoke too much your eyelids will keep attempting to meet. I highly recommend this strain to newbie and old-timers alike. The yield is there the potency is there and it's very easy to grow. I will grow it again.

This is just unreal! Some days ago I put a NIRVANA; WHITE-RHINO-seed into a "Jiffy".......48 hours later I wondered as I noticed 2 roots coming out of the seed.....only a day later I saw 2 little plants in that Jiffy: (one of them looks a bit ill/sick)......now I separated them in 2 independent jiffy pots. The healthy plant is growing already, but the sick looking plant stays little. My twins are doing very well.....by the way....the sick one is healthy, too. -only the "germ-leafs" were damaged...but the next leaves look healthy.

I grow these plants near 55"N; it's a very wet and cold climate. I bought these seeds for indoor, but then I had some trouble. So my only chance to grow cannabis was to grow it outdoors. It was only a test how the Rhino grows in my climate, and YOU ALL know the result of it..!!!

I'm very content with this harvest. The Rhino#1 was a more indica pheno with a spicy strong smell, and the yield was 590g wet! The second Rhino was a bit more sativa than the other plant...with a very sweet fruity smell...the yield was 560g wet! Both plants were about 1.80m tall. I just checked the dry yield of the second Rhino, and it was 160g! That means 180g+160g=340g from one seed!! That's enough I think! -Thanks NIRVANA-Seeds!

The smell is so strong, I wont need a deodorant in the future ...my clothes still smell like weed after harvesting those smelly bitches!

That should be in the list of "strains, which a grower should grow in his life".

I'm curing this weed now for 3 weeks, and yesterday I smoked the first pure joint of it!
The smoke could be softer, but the high is just amazing, it is so strong that you can't smoke it pure, or you'll lose your mind, that is what happened to me and my friend after we had smoked about 2/3 of the pure spliff.
I just sit in a chair, thinking about everything you could imagine. I had problems staying on the ground and not flying around. It was really different to all what I have smoked before, either homegrown or bought buds. Only very experienced smokers are able to smoke that pure or you'll die after smoking a whole joint :) LOL
I don't want to know how the affects would be smoking that shit in a bong.... creeper stone!

I started these out in a 14 gallon bubbler, then as I saw a problem arise, changing nutes during flowering, didn't want to break branches by taking top lid off, so I made it into a top feeding bubbler. I started out with 5 out of 5 beans germinating and ended up with 3 females. I started them under a 400 watt HPS from seed, moved them to a 1000 watt HPS during flowering. they hardly required any nutes and was always having to top off with plain water and never any nutes except when changing res.

I pulled the switch on the grow op due to odor problems and, well I didn't have any weed. the buds were looking great and thanks to the kool-bloom added I got big buds quick. I looked at the trichomes under a 60x-100x microscope and they were some cloudy some amber and some clear. after hearing about a more 'up' high I decided to test a bud. I nuked it according to darkstars steam method and was absolutely amazed at how good it was after coming out of microwave. 6 weeks and 3 days was total flowering time and believe me when I tell you I have no problem with yield or potency. to any one looking for a great strain this is it. wish I had kept a mother

I grew this strain out from 5 seeds. I got 100% germination. 1 plant was very skimpy and culled 2 were males and also culled.

The two remaining plants W2 and W5 were grown using Genesis formula nutes in a simple soilless mix. (See Aethyr 93 NL x Shiva report for more grow details)

The plants grew quite well and I had no problems with them during the grow.

Vegged plants 47 days and started flower at 8"

Flowered plants 60 days finished at 28"

Buds formed in a Christmas tree shape but were slow to fill out and then remained quite airy even under two 400 W lights. I grew NL x Shiva at the same time as this one and the buds on those girls were big and much tighter.

Harvest and smoke:

Yield was a bit below what I would have liked, but quite respectable. This bud had very little aroma or taste. The stone was okay. It was an all around buzz, but kind of had a wet blanket feeling to it. Just not my cup of tea.

Conclusion:

I was quite disappointed with this strain. Although it was easy to grow and looked pretty good, the poor taste and wet blanket stone was a real let down. I am growing my mother's out and will not be growing this strain anymore.

Update:

I felt I was a bit harsh on this strain so I had a few friends do a smoke report for me. They all thought the White Rhino had a very good stone and they didn't really mind the mild, almost weedy taste. In all, 2 people thought it was so-so and the rest REALLY liked it. I would consider growing this again if I had a medical application for it.

Well im just a dirt farmer but I must say this strain grows like crazy a monkey can grow this. Germed 4 beans out of 4 3 out of 4 females. The pistols are covered with trics can get really snowy in the later part of flower. If you like Indica this is the one to have.

The stone is a lost Stone very hard to keep thought on one thing for any amount of time. Something ive noticed is if you have any work that needs done it wont get done, thats what ive noticed this is a PM smoke for shure. Out of a bowl its hard on the old lungs, but in a bong very nice. Everyone I know that has smoked this tells me its almost to strong:)

Will I grow this again Yes

This Strain would cross great with anything.

They can really drink some water the last three weeks like a gallon every 3 to 4 days.

I got this strain because of all the great things one reads about it. First of all the potency and it's ability to function as a painkiller.

Veg:

I started 4 seeds, don't remember if it was me or the seeds, but out of those 2 germinated.
In veg these plants were nothing unusual.
Normal growth, slightly purple stems which seem to be a trait of this strain.
Not much to say about growth really...
Preflowers showed rather early.
WR is also an easy cloner, due to lots of good branches I had a good base to start from.
They all rooted.
Not much to say about growth apart from that, pretty normal.

Flower:

In flower the one female I got started to stretch, like I expected it to, considering its sativa dominance. Wasn't too bad at all tho, just a bit more than the indica dominant plants in the system.
Buds looked very unique, dark green and very compact.
They didn't start swelling for a long time, when the others had already finished budding, this one took of. Not as much as expected tho.
I harvested this one at day 60. Smell was very fruity at that time, the buds were covered in resin.
The buds I harvested were very compact; in fact I was not able to squeeze them at all... great product.

Smoke:

The final product looks greenish brown, the buds are incredibly compact and sticky, are broken up easily (with a grinder), and smoke perfectly smooth in a joint.
Many describe the high as very strong, but I don't really agree. Haven't smoked enough to really be able to tell, but compared to my AK48 it doesn't stay in your body for hours and keep you flying.
It's more of a stoney, mellow high which numbs your body.
The buds smell like citrus cleaner, the smoke is a bit sour, kinda like NYCD.

Opinion:

The WR is ok in all aspects, the only things I was disappointed by a bit: I expected it to be more potent than the AK, but obviously they are very different and the AK is generally stronger.
What I liked was the apparently small yield which turned out to be above average due to the bud's density.

Well this was the first time I have grown Nirvana White Rhino or any breeder's White Rhino for that matter. I have grown indoors before (SAGE x Rhino plus others) and have had some successful crops that keeps my supply up. The grow started a little later than planned as I had a screw up! The original plan was to clone some SAGE that I had but I baked them by accident. No fans for one night and it cooked the newly rooted clones!

I followed my usual pattern of starting the seeds in cubes, and then dropping directly into their full size to maturation container (4.5g). Seeds germed quickly (2 days or less) and all sprouted. None were lost due to mortality of seed failure.

I vegged under 18/6 for 6 weeks from seed and they went to about 8" on average excluding my single runt. Used 400w HPS bulb for both veg and flower (my 400w MH could not be used, in addition to HPS, this late in the year due to heat issues). Watered daily and fert every 3rd watering at full strength throughout except for last few weeks (flush). Flowered for 8 weeks (57 days) at 12/12 and decreasing to 10/14 for the last two weeks. Also added Monsta Bud per their directions during both Veg and Flower which seemed to show some positive results.

Smoke Report

I harvested at 57 days 12/12 with the last 36 hours of complete darkness. The harvest was a bit early but I had some out of town vacation planned and nobody to babysit - again back to the screw up as the cause! I let them hang to dry for 4 days before performing final pruning and cleanup then put some in a baggy, packed the rest away and went on vacation. I ended up with 8.3oz of dried and clean buds. The smaller & less trich covered buds along with the bud trim I did not weigh and put aside for some ice later on. The buds are sticky but not too stinky either. There is quite a covering of trichs on all of the buds.

The taste is an earthy, hash type taste. Not the 7-up taste but a good tasty smoke overall though. I also find it is not a lung collapser which is a good thing. The high is quite good. I have had better but I have to keep in mind I harvested a week early maybe up to two. I don't find it to be a couchlock stone but defiantly a getup and go type smoke for me anyhow. Also find you can get trippin' and really forget what the hell you were doing !

Overall a good quality smoke, no hassle to grow and a breeze overall! I will grow it again, as a matter of fact I have a 10-seed pack on standby for a future grow! Next time I will do a bit better time planning and ensure I can let them go to the very bitter end to get the best yield, taste and trich development.
